Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 2

Three days passed quickly for Gabi and she sat in the living room chair in nervous anticipation as she waited for her friends to pick her up. She was leaving to the airport where they were to be flying to Atlanta to attend a Jonas Brothers concert. The first of many concerts they would be attending. See, her friend, Sarah, had bought front row tickets to every Jonas Brothers concert from June 25 to August 30, and plane tickets to fly to every city the concerts would be held.

The horn of a car honked outside. Gabi looked out the window to see Marissa, Sarah's older sister, wave her arm madly out of the open car window. Gabi got up and went out the door. She wished she could say goodbye to her family, but they were at a party and left her here to wait for Marissa, Keila, and Sarah. She walked up to the black SUV and opened the door. She sat next to her friends and buckled up. They drove to the airport. This would be the start of a wild rollercoaster ride.

They got in the plane and flew to Atlanta. They passed the time with small, electronic devices. Sarah played with her black Nintendo DS, Keila listened to her iPod Nano, and Gabi watched a movie on her portable DVD player.

When they finally landed and got their luggage, Keila and Gabi turned to Sarah.

"So, Senior Smarty Pants," Keila started. "What do we do now? If we wait to find out what hotel the Jo Bros. are staying at, where will we sleep tonight?"
"Don't worry, for the first night, we'll stay at any hotel. Just for the night. Well, unless we get lucky and end up in the same hotel anyway."

Sarah called a cab and we drove to the Fantasy Hotel. We checked in and got a room with three bedrooms. We went to the 3rd floor and went into Room 49. We unpacked enough for the night. After 20 minutes of boringly flipping TV channels, Sarah left and snuck into an office. She went on to the computer and found the list of hotel guests. When she saw who was checked into Room 52, she almost screamed. She snuck out and went back to the room with a Dr. Pepper can in hand.

"Sup." She said as she entered the room and sipped the soda she held.
"Hey, Sarah. So what did you find out?" Keila asked calmly, not moving her head from the TV.
"What makes you think I found something out?"
"You always find something out."
"True..."
"So what is it?"
"Okay, you won't believe who's staying a few rooms down from us!"
"Who?" Keila was still calm.
"Okay, don't scream."
"Whatever."
"It's..." she took a deep breath. "The Jonas Brothers!"
"Okay."
"Did you hear me? I said the Jonas Brothers!"
"I heard you. Toss me a pillow, would ya?" She did as asked and Keila screamed into the pillow. She removed the pillow from her mouth and tossed it back to her.
"Thanks, Sarah." Sarah rolled her eyes.
"Where's Gabi?"
"Bathroom."
"Yo, Gabi!! Did you hear our conversation?!!"
Gabi came out of the bathroom with a flush.
"Are you serious?!"
"Would I joke about this?!"
"Probably..."
"You're right... well I'm not joking now!"
Gabi's face lit up with a mile wide grin.
"No way!!"
"Yeah way!!"
Gabi was about to scream but Sarah quickly covered her mouth.
"Don't scream! If they know that we know that they're staying here, they might go to another hotel!" Gabi nodded as Sarah removed her hand and wiped it on her shirt.
"Well, I'm going to look through their peephole. Bye." Sarah left.
Gabi stood there in happy shock. She was excited, and yet seriously nervous. What they bump into her and try to talk to her? Gabi was extremely shy with new people, let alone people like the Jonas Brothers. Would it be different this time?
