Back in Joe and Nick's room, Joe was tickling the stuffing out of Sarah. Just as Sarah was about to pass out from being tickled so much, she got a tingling sensation in her brain. Her eyes widened and she gasped.
"My Sarah Senses are tingling!" She yelled. Joe stopped tickling her.
"What?" He asked.
"Gabi's in trouble!" She ran to the lobby with Joe right behind her. They got down and sure enough, Gabi was laying on the floor, seemingly unconscious. Nick ran up to them.
"Sarah! Gabi is-"
"What did you do to her?!" Joe yelled.
"I didn-"
"Nick didn't do anything!" Sarah yelled. She got down on her knees and looked at Gabi. "She's still breathing. I know what happened."
"What is it?!"
"Well, it's hard to explain. See, sometimes she has these... let's call them.. visions."
"What?!"
"Okay, sometimes she just passes out, and kinda... dreams, if you will. She always wakes up and draws pictures immediately afterwards. She always says that she sees pictures. And then, later on, those pictures have something to do with whatever big thing happened."
"Um... okay?"
"To put it simply, she can sometimes see her future. Kinda."
"Woah." Joe said.
"Will she be okay?" Nick asked.
"She'll be fine. Unless..."
"Unless what?!"
"Nevermind, it's nothing important. Just lift her onto the couch. I can't do it, my arms are too weak."
Joe and Nick lifted Gabi onto the couch. Nick was really worried.
"She should wake up in about a half an hour."
"What if she doesn't?" Nick asked.
"Then call 911." Sarah walked away, Joe followed.
"Where are you going?!" Nick asked.
"To my hotel room. I'm gonna wake up Keila and then watch some TV."
"Yeah, I'm coming, too." Joe said.
Nick sat next to Gabi on the couch. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. He hoped she would be okay.
"Oh, by the way!" Sarah yelled after pushing the elevator button. "She usually has a breakdown after she wakes up. Just warning you. I hope you don't mind a soggy shirt!" She door closed, sending Sarah and Joe to the third floor.
After a half an hour of staring at Gabi, Nick saw her eyes flutter open. She groaned and rubbed her head as she sat up. She looked around.
"W-Where am I?" She asked.
"You're at the Fantasy Hotel." Nick said. Gabi turned her head to see a curly haired boy about her age.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Nick... you don't remember?"
Gabi closed her eyes for a minute, then they shot open.
"...Gabi? Are you al-" Before Nick could finish, Gabi flung her arms around him, hugging him tightly as she cried. Nick wrapped his arms around her.
"It's so weird! Why! Why!" She yelled.
"It's okay! It's okay.." Nick comforted her.
She finally calmed down and pulled herself off of Nick. She sat up straight, still crying slightly.
"What did you see?" Nick asked calmly.
"I saw a big rock sitting around glass pieces. And I saw... fireworks. Beautiful, bright, blasting fireworks. And hands... two hands holding each other. And tears. Tears falling down into a puddle. And a cookie. A huge cookie in the shape of a heart, broken in half. And... a ring. A shiny silver ring. And an explosion. A huge, fiery explosion. And a knife. Just a knife, but it looked like somebody dropped it. And a cup. A cup that spilled... it spilled something red. It.. was more like a goblet."
"Wow..." Nick whispered.
"And... one more thing. I saw..." She was interrupted by a loud shattering noise. They both turned there heads to see a huge rock on the floor near the glass door along with shattered glass. The manager walked in and grabbed the rock. It had a piece of paper taped onto it. He took it off and read the words made from cut out magazine letters:
YOU KNOW WHAT YOU MUST DO!
The manager acted confused. He called the hotel engineer (janitor) to clean up the mess and order a new glass sheet for the door. He walked away with the rock in hand.
Nick turned to Gabi.
"Well, part one of your vision came true." He said, kinda freaked out.
"What do you mean?"
"The rock around glass. That would be it right there." He pointed to the glass mess.
"Oh. I suppose." She was breathing heavily and shaking a little.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes. I'm fine." She actually wasn't sure.
"Do you... wanna hang out? Go some places?"
"Um... okay."
They stood up and walked out the back entrance. Nick took Gabi's hand and led her to a park. There sat a sparkling fountain surrounded by benches. Oh no, we're not gonna go there are we? Gabi thought. Her stomach started churning. Nick led her to a bench and Gabi stiffened. She let go of his hand and kept her head facing the fountain. She started shaking, she hoped he would believe she was shaking because of the 'vision'.
"Here." Nick said, handing her a piece of paper. She took it and read seven numbers. His phone number?! She shoved it in her pocket.
"Thanks." She said purposely with no emotion whatsoever. There was suddenly an awkward silence. Then Gabi's cell phone rang. She let out a breath of relief.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Hey, Gabi. Heard you had a vision." The voice said.
"Um.. yeah, I did."
"So what'd you see?"
"Um, could I tell you about it later?"
"Yeah. Why? You on a hot date right now or something?"
"No! No, I just don't feel like talking about it at the moment."
"Whatever you say. So who ya with?"
"How did you know I was-"
"Ah, I know things."
"Nobody in particular. Just a friend."
"Okay then. So... where are you?"
"Miami. On vacation."
"Oh. When you gonna be back?"
"Sometimes in August. Look, I gotta go. Talk to you later?"
"Kay. Bye, Gabs."
"Bye." She closed her phone.
"So who was that?" Nick asked.
"Is it really any of your business who I talk on the phone with?!" Gabi snapped. She was shocked at what she said.
"No, I guess not. Sorry."
"It was my cousin, Luke."
"Oh."
Gabi's phone rang again.
"Hello?" She answered a bit annoyed.
"What?!....Oh no!....Kay, be right over!" She closed the phone to a confused Keila.
"I gotta run. Sorry!" She ran away from Nick and back into the hotel. She ran to her room and opened the door with wide eyes. Sarah and Joe were kissing on the couch.
"Ohh...Sorry..I guess I'll go away now.." She said. All three of them were blushing. Gabi closed the door behind her and heard Sarah giggling. Gabi was confused. Sarah never giggles! She looked through the peephole and saw Joe whispering something in Sarah's ear, making Sarah giggle. Gabi shrugged it off and opened her phone. She dialed the number and waited.
"Hello?" The person answered.
"Hey, Keila. Sorry for earlier. Now... what did you want?"
"I wanted you and Nick to meet me and Kevin at Goose Park."
"Ohhhhh. Whoops. Hehh... um, okay then. Bye." She closed her phone and headed down to the lobby.

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 9
The next morning at 7:28 AM, Sarah's eyes fluttered open. She glanced at the clock sitting on the small table beside her bed.
"WOAH!!" She yelled as loud as humanly possible as her body shot up. "It's 7:30! Get up, get up, get up!" She shot up out of bed and ran through the large hotel room as she yelled. Gabi and Keila groaned as they dragged themselves out of and got dressed. Sarah got dressed in black shorts and a red graphic guitar t-shirt with red converse shoes. Keila got dressed in tan capri pants with tons of pockets and a light blue tank top with random lyrics written all over it. And Gabi dressed in jean shorts, and a red tank top with stars, with black and white Adidas shoes.
By the time they were done getting ready (and getting granola bars from the vending machine), it was eight o' clock. They waited on the couch in the lobby. After a few minutes, Kevin, Nick and Joe came walking in. The girls thought the boys looked more attractive than usual. And the boys thought the same about the girls.
"Alright! Let's go!" Joe yelled and grabbed Sarah and Keila's hands and pulled them as he ran out of the hotel. Nick and Kevin laughed and walked out with Gabi. They walked over to the place the concert was going to be held.
"You girls can sit in the chairs down there while we rehearse. You can see how well we do." Nick said and smiled. Gabi and Keila sat in the front row and Sarah sat in the very back.
"I'm just seeing how well you sound from here!" She yelled. Joe smirked and they started playing Just Friends. Nick kept looking at Gabi, and Gabi kept looking at Nick. Gabi started feeling uneasy, so she moved to the middle section. Sarah, being the Curious George she is, went to the seat next to Gabi.
"Anything wrong?" Sarah asked.
"I don't know..." Gabi couldn't remove her eyes from Nick.
"Do you.. like him?"
"I don't know..."
"I think he likes you."
"How can you tell?"
"He keeps looking at you and smiling. Plus, he looks at you when he sings Just Friends and When You Look Me In the Eyes, and Hello Beautiful and...
"I got it, Sarah! Thank you; that's enough."
"My point is, he thinks you're wonderful."
"How do you know?"
"Joe told me that Nick said he thinks you're wonderful." Sarah smiled.
Gabi was silent.
"You know, Gabi... I think you should talk to him."
"I've talked to him!"
"I mean, a one on one conversation."
"How can I manage that?! I can barely go an hour with him without feeling weird in my stomach."
"Well... that could mean a lot of things. It could mean you don't like him, you do like him, he smells weird, you're too darn nervous all the time..."
"I get it!"
"Well, you should..." She was interrupted by Joe yelling through the mic.
"How'd we do?" He yelled.
"You were awesome!!" Sarah yelled back way louder.
"What did you think, Gabi?"
She tried her best to smile and gave a thumbs up.
"Great! Keila?"
"Well, you were very loud from here." She said in her normal voice and smiled.
"Awesome!"
"Whaaaaat neeeeext?" Sarah yelled.
"Next is Burnin' Up." Nick said.
Gabi sighed and looked around as they started playing. She sunk in her seat and closed her eyes as she listened to the song. Sarah melted during Joe's part. He winked at her and she slid down her seat with a smile. Keila enjoyed the song. She was one of the few people who thought of them as just a band; meaning, she didn't have any weird crushes on any of them.
Gabi couldn't stop wondering about Nick. Did he really like her? Did she like him back? All the questions running through her mind. She opened her eyes to see Nick singing the chorus to Burnin' Up. She felt her heart flutter as she watched him. Maybe she did like him.
They finished an hour later. The boys had the rest of the day off until six o' clock. So they eventually decided to go to Flamingo Gardens. Flamingo Gardens was a 'Wildlife Sanctuary' filled with a bunch of beautiful places to see. Birds, flowers, 'wildlife', etc.
They arrived there and decided to split up until one o' clock. Sarah went with Joe, Keila went with Kevin, and Gabi went with Nick. Gabi was a bit silent in the deciding conversation, and somehow got paired up with Nick. She wondered how she would do, considering she always felt kinda sick around him.
Sarah and Joe pretty much just goofed around wherever they went. They made each other laugh so hard, people stared at them with weird faces as they passed by, which made them laugh even more. They had such a wonderful time together; they didn't want the time to pass as quickly as it was.
Keila and Kevin had fun wherever they went. Even at the boring places, they would do something to make the other laugh. They became pretty good friends by one o' clock.
Gabi and Nick didn't talk that much. Gabi chewed on gum to avoid a number of things. When they got to Flamingo Island, Nick admitted to her that he liked her, which caused Gabi to swallow her gum. Gabi talked even less pretty much the whole time.
At one o' clock, they met up at the Cafe place and ate lunch together. They decided to go see a movie after they finished eating. They saw Get Smart. Joe and Sarah sat up front, Keila and Kevin sat in the middle, and Gabi sat in the very back, Nick sitting next to her.
During the funny parts of the movie, everyone laughed but Gabi. She smirked a little, but didn't really laugh. Nick noticed that she looked a bit unhappy.
"It's okay to laugh." He whispered. Gabi sighed.
"Not when you don't feel like laughing." She whispered back, not turning her head away from the screen. Nick knew that something was wrong. He didn't know what, though. And he hoped to find out soon.
By the time the movie was over, Joe and Sarah were holding hands. They liked each other, and they weren't afraid to admit it. During the movie, Joe had kissed her on the cheek, sending shivers down her spine.
They left the theater and went back to the hotel at 3:51 PM. Kevin decided to shop for random things, Keila went to take a nap, Sarah and Joe hung out at Joe and Nick's hotel room watching TV and stuff. Gabi sat in the lobby thinking of what to do. Nick watched her from behind. She looked sad. She sighed multiple times. After a while, she finally planted her face in her hands, letting small tears slowly roll down her cheek and soak into her hands.
Nick walked over to her and sat next her on the couch.
"What's wrong?" He asked her sweetly.
"Nick!" She said quickly as she lifted her head up and sniffed. "Nothing's wrong."
"You don't just cry for no reason."
"It's happened before..."
"Come on, Gabi. You can tell me."
"Nothing is wrong!" She stood up and started to walk away. Nick stood up and gently grabbed her shoulder and turned her around.
"Gabi..." He started to say, but stopped. More tears flowed down Gabi's face. She took off her glasses and put them in her pocket. She wiped her tears and looked at Nick. He smiled and Gabi fell to the floor.
"Gabi! Whats..." Nick's voice faded. Everything blurred way more than usual, and went black. She saw pictures. She saw fireworks, hands, falling teardrops, a broken heart cookie, a ring, an explosion, a knife, and a spilled cup. The images slowly spun around in her mind. She was having what some people call a vision.
"WOAH!!" She yelled as loud as humanly possible as her body shot up. "It's 7:30! Get up, get up, get up!" She shot up out of bed and ran through the large hotel room as she yelled. Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 8
The next day, Keila, Gabi, and Sarah packed up and got ready for their flight to Miami. Keila and Sarah told Gabi to find out what hotel the Jonas Brothers were staying at. So she went out the door and immediately bumped into Joe Jonas.
"Oh, hey Gabi!" He said with a smile.
"Hello." Gabi said, not sure how to ask.
"Okay, so I just came to say goodbye to you."
"What?"
"Oh, we're leaving in an hour for Miami."
"Oh. I see."
"So... goodbye!" He hugged her.
"Oh! So, just wondering, but.."
"Yeah?"
"What hotel might you be staying at?" She bit her lip.
"Oh. Okay... we're staying at the Fantasy hotel. Actually, we've made reservations at the Fantasy hotel for each of our stops."
"Really?!" Her face lit up.
"Yeah. Why?"
"Oh, no reason, really." She lied. "I was just curious."
"Oh okay. Well, bye, Gabi. See you someday soon?"
"Oh, sooner than you realize."
"What?"
"Nothing! Bye!" They hugged again and Joe walked away. To not seem suspicious, Gabi walked to the Soda Machine and got a Coke. She walked back into her room and Sarah ran up to her.
"Well?" Sarah asked anxiously.
"Oh. Fantasy Hotel. For all the cities, actually."
"No way! Sweet! You didn't happen to find out what room number, did you?"
"I'm not sure they know their room number yet."
"Well, I'm sure luck is on our side. And just in case, I'm wearing red!"
"Why red?"
"Because, red is the luckiest color!"
"None of us were wearing red the day we got here."
"Well, now we need to push it! Now put on some red!"
"Whatever you say..."
They got on the plane later that day and arrived in Miami. They checked into the Fantasy Hotel. They stayed in Room 57. Sarah snuck into the hotel office to confirm that the Jonas Brothers were staying there, too. They were, but this time Kevin had his own room on the first floor (14), and Nick and Joe shared a room on the second floor (31). Sarah had made the decision that they should all lay low until tomorrow, to avoid suspicion. So they stayed cooped inside the hotel room all day. They ordered room service to keep themselves occupied.
At 11:21 PM, Gabi decided to go out to the vending machine and grab a soda, since it was late, she figured the boys would be sleeping. She walked to the elevator, pressed the button, listened unwillingly to the faint jazz music playing, and walked out to the hall that led to the vending machine. She entered the little 'room' place where the machines and stuff were. She pressed the button for Sprite, slid the dollar in, waited, heard a BANG!, and reached down to her soda. As she held the slightly wet can, she heard a familiar voice.
"Gabi?!" She voice asked.
Her eyes widened, then shut tight as she froze in her weird position. Oh no! He found me! What to do, what to do?! She grabbed her soda and straightened up, keeping her head down, letting her hair fall over her face. She hoped he would believe she was not Gabi.
"Gabi, is that you?" The person asked. Gabi shook her head and walked away. Unfortunately, her plan took a sudden U turn. She tripped and fell flat on her face, still gripping that Sprite. The person helped her up.
"Are you okay? Do you and your friends have falling problems?" He smiled.
"I'm fine. And no, we do not!" Gabi said, refraining from looking at him. She knew it was Nick.
"Okay, sorry. What are you doing here?"
"Oh. It's... part of our vacation! See, we're going to.. some concerts. All over the place. For the whole summer." Gabi barely got that out of her.
"I see."
"Well, bye!" She quickly turned around and started walking away. But she was stopped by a hand gently grabbing her arm. She turned around.
"Come hang out tomorrow?" Nick smiled at her. Gabi half froze.
"O-Okay. When?"
"Come to the rehearsal with us? You and your friends? At eight?"
"Sure."
"Great!"
Gabi quickly went back to her room. She opened the door, walked in, closed the door with her back to it, closed her eyes, and sighed.
"What happened? You took way longer than any normal person!" Keila was suspicious.
"Oh. Nothing. Let's just say, we're going somewhere at eight."
"What? Where are we going?"
"To watch a certain band rehearse."
Gabi walked over to the couch and sat, casually sipping her Sprite. Keila and Sarah looked at each other with wide eyes. They turned to Gabi.
"What happened?!" Sarah asked loudly.
"Nothing!"
"Gabriella Montez!"
"Uh, my last name is Rodriguez..?!"
"Don't you know when I'm being silly?! Just tell!"
"Okay, fine! I was getting a soda and Nick found me there!"
"Aaaaaand...?!"
"And he asked if we could come with them to rehearsal at eight."
"Alright! Soooo..."
"What?" Gabi looked scared.
"Did he... look at you?"
"What?!"
"Did he look at you?!"
"Um, yeah...?"
"I mean... how did he look at you?"
"Well, I tried my best not to look at him... for fear of.. barfing. So I didn't really see. But he kept smiling at me..."
"Yes! La la la la la!" Sarah started skipping around.
"Sarah, are you hyper or something?"
"Yyyyeeeeeeessss!!" She yelled loudly. She was now jumping on the couch.
"WELL, I'm going to sleep." Keila said.
"Me too." Gabi said.
"Yeah, ok, fine, I'll sleep." Sarah said. And they all went to sleep. (After, of course, thinking of the random thoughts in their heads.) Tomorrow was going to be great!... Or was it?
"Oh, hey Gabi!" He said with a smile.
"Hello." Gabi said, not sure how to ask.
"Okay, so I just came to say goodbye to you."
"What?"
"Oh, we're leaving in an hour for Miami."
"Oh. I see."
"So... goodbye!" He hugged her.
"Oh! So, just wondering, but.."

Or was it?

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 7
They arrived at That Arcade Place and decided to have a challenge. Boys vs. Girls. They would all tally up who beat who, (you had to play with someone opposite your gender) and then whatever team won overall would pay for pizza.
Keila destroyed each of the Jonas Brothers at every game she played with them. Sarah was surprisingly not that good; she only beat each of them twice. And Gabi, well, she was half and half. Overall, thanks to Keila, the girls won and the Jonas Brothers had to buy the the pizza.
During that time, Gabi didn't talk that much, or even look that much at Nick at all. She tried to sort of avoid him politely and not that much. Nick did recognize her, though, and wanted to talk to her, but felt she didn't want to talk to him. So he ignored the matter, or at least tried to.
Joe certainly seemed to take a liking to Sarah. Although he wasn't exactly sure. And he thought that he and his brothers would be leaving in the morning, and wouldn't be able to see them again. Sarah definitely liked him. Or she wanted to. She wasn't sure either. But Sarah knew that they would be seeing them sooner than they expected.
They went to the pizza place next door and sat at a large-ish booth. The seating was:
Kevin, Joe, Gabi
Table
Keila, Sarah, Nick
Gabi was half comfortable and half uneasy. She sat next to Joe who she could talk to as much as her younger sister, Hilary (who was 13). On the other hand, she sat across from Nick. So she felt a bit uneasy, and tried to keep her eyes looking at something else. She didn't completely ignore him, she talked to him a little bit. Nick was quiet, too, as usual. But he kept looking at Gabi.
"She is so pretty..." he kept mumbling to himself.
The night went on pretty normal. Just six friends hanging out. After dinner, they all hung out at Kevin, Nick, and Joe's hotel room. They watched one of the girls' all time favorite movie, At World's End. Nick, Sarah, Joe, and Kevin sat on the couch. Gabi and Keila sat on chairs. By the time the movie was half over, Sarah was asleep on Joe's shoulder. Kevin went to bed. Nick left to get sodas with Keila, and they came back all angry; nobody found out why. Gabi just sat there, staring at the TV silently. She felt left out, but didn't know why. She looked out the window. She saw couples holding hands while walking. Then the sun set fully and she turned back to the TV. By then, it was the scene where Will and Elizabeth were getting married during a mad swordfight.
"Just kiss!" Barbossa yelled after clanging his swords against another. Will and Elizabeth kissed passionately.
Gabi looked over at Joe and Sarah. Sarah was still sleeping on Joe's shoulder. Joe had wrapped his arm around her. They were both smiling. She sighed. Was the world telling her something? She looked over at Nick, who she noticed was looking at her, and he smiled at Gabi. Her eyes widened slightly as she turned her head back facing the TV. Her attention was fixed on something else, though. She couldn't stop wondering. Her and Nick? Nick and Her? She could barely talk to the boy without getting nauseous! Plus, she was considered the super nerd at school. No boy had ever talked to her. Not more than a sentence or two. A boy like Nick could never be interested in a girl like Gabi. At least, that's what she thought.
Sarah didn't wake up even an hour after the movie ended. They tried to wake her up, but she was such a heavy sleeper, nothing would work. So they debated whether she should sleep there, or be carried into the girls' room. They decided that Joe should carry her to her bed. So he (kinda awkwardly) carried Sarah over to Room 49 and into her bedroom and onto the bed. He smiled at her. She looked so beautiful when she was asleep, he thought.

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 6
Later that day, after they had lunch at Donato's, Keila, Gabi and Sarah went back to the hotel. Just then, the hotel phone rang.
"Who the heck could that be?!" Sarah asked.
"It must be hotel staff. Nobody we know would call our hotel phone." Keila said.
Gabi walked over to the phone and picked it up.
"Hello?...Hey, Joe!...Uh huh...Sweet!...Okay...We'll be there!...Bye." Gabi hung up.
"Get ready to practically worship me! That was Joe. He said they have the rest of the day off starting at 4:30 PM, and they wanna hang out with us! Before you scream and stuff, there's more. They're taking us to... um... man, I forgot!"
"Ohh! Ohhh! Is it Chuck E. Cheese?!" Sarah asked over excitedly.
"What?! No! It's... It's that arcade place... um... Oh yeah! It's called 'That Arcade Place'!"
"Seriously? What kind of name is that?"
"Hey, I'm not the one who thought of it!"
"I kinda like it..." Keila jumped in the conversation quietly. Sarah and Gabi looked at Keila strangely. Keila looked at them with a 'What?' face. They rolled their eyes and watched TV for three hours.
When the time finally came, there was a knock on the door. Sarah ran to the door and looked through the peephole.
"Ack!" She yelled. "Okay, there's a giant eye in the peephole!" The others laughed and opened the door to Joe, Kevin and Nick.
"Ready? Oh, of course you are! Let's go!" Joe was kinda hyper-ish. The girls walked out with them, ready to play some awesome video games. As they went out of the hotel lobby, Gabi stayed quiet in the back of the group, going a bit slower than the others. Just as she planned, Joe slowed down to see what was wrong with Gabi.
"Anything wrong?" He asked her.
"Well... Can I be completely honest with you?"
"Of course."
"Okay... well I kinda... um..." She took a deep breath. "I don't know why, but whenever I even look at Nick... I get sooo nervous! I just don't know what I'll do!"
"Well... maybe you should have him break your glasses!" They laughed.
"I don't think so!"
"Just be yourself. Just, you know, pretend he's someone you already know."
"I... I'll try." She sighed. "Thanks, Joe."
"Any time, Gabi." He wrapped his arm around her shoulder for a side hug.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be flirting with your friend." Gabi playfully hit him in the arm and they both moved towards the front of the group. Maybe, just maybe, things will work out fine.

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 5
Gabi tried to sleep until 6:27 AM. She couldn't sleep and went to the living room. She turned on the TV quietly. But on every channel, it was either something boring or something about, who else? The Jonas Brothers. She couldn't handle even looking at them at the moment. She sighed as she turned the TV off. She decided to get dressed and go do something. She dressed in a knee-length black skirt and a white t-shirt with the American flag on it with some white ballet flats. She also wore her glasses. She put her long, dark brown hair into a slightly messy ponytail. She grabbed her denim Pirates of the Caribbean purse and left a note on the TV saying she went to a place, she's got her phone with her, and she'll be back at 9:30 AM. She went out the door to do... something interesting.
Gabi got down to the lobby and went out the revolving door. She thought, This is too fun to put in normal doors. She looked around outside and wondered what to do. She walked around looking at the buildings all around trying to find something to do at 6:41 AM. For a minute, she wasn't paying attention to where she was going. Unfortunately, she crashed into someone knocking the other person down.
"Oh.. I-I'm sorry! I..." Gabi tried to apologize but eventually noticed who it was that she knocked down. He got up and brushed himself off. Gabi's eyes widened and she got really nervous. The sparkling eyes of Nick Jonas were staring at her and he was smiling politely.
"Hey! Aren't you Gab-" Nick started to say, but Gabi interrupted him.
"Um.. bye." She said flatly as she quickly walked away with her head down. Nick stared at her strangely as she hurried away. He was used to the really pretty girls being outgoing and scream-ish. But Gabi was different. She got his attention in a different way.
Gabi sped up as she felt a single tear run down her face. Why can't I just talk to the boy?! It's really not that hard. Then she found a store that caught her eye; The Disney Store! She entered the store and was amazed. She felt like a little kid almost. She looked around and her eyes glistened at everything. From the mountain of plush Disney characters, to the colorful toys, to the awesome clothes, to the giant screen that played Disney music videos. She hadn't been to the Disney Store in years. She wandered around gazing at the things that were actually suitable for her age. Then she spotted it. Put on a display behind a glass box was the very same medallion necklace that Elizabeth Turner wore in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. She almost drooled but stopped herself and looked at the price. $50.00
"Oh my..." she whispered to herself disappointedly. She could never afford that before she had to leave. She would've let Sarah buy it with the credit card that Sarah's grandparents gave her, but she didn't like the idea of that. She sighed and looked at the other things. She looked at her watch. Only 7:19 AM. She was kinda bored but didn't really want to leave. She looked at the huge screen and watched Hannah Montana sing Nobody's Perfect.
"Loser." Gabi whispered. A little girl up to her.
"You called Hannah Montana a loser?!" she whined sadly. Gabi opened her mouth to say something but the girl started whimpering and tears started coming down. Then her mother came up to Gabi.
"What did you say to my little girl?!" she said harshly. Gabi opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by the little girl.
"Mommy! She called Hannah Montana a loser!"
Gabi hoped the mother would understand.
"Now you're not a very nice teenager, are you?" the mother said harshly as she pulled her daughter away from Gabi.
Gabi sighed as if this type of thing was normal. Actually, it was. Things like that happened to Gabi all the time. She looked back at the screen and saw the Hannah Montana video finish and a new video start. She recognized the tune that the guitar played. As the seconds passed she saw the Jonas Brothers in the video for Burning Up.
"Oh no." She muttered to herself. She felt her hand twitch and she ran out of the store. She looked back for just a second and... SMACK! She crashed into someone again! This time she was knocked to the ground. Her hair fell out of the ponytail she had put in, making her hair somewhat wavy. She rubbed her head and looked up. The person was blurry because her glasses fell of in the collision.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" The person said. Another person walked up next to the guy.
"Ugh. You're such a clutz, Joe!" He said. Joe... wait a minute! She recognized the voice. Oh great. How much Jonas can one take all at once?! Joe reached out his hand and Gabi hesitantly grabbed it. He helped her up and noticed she was squinting.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Can't see..." Gabi said quietly. She looked around for her glasses. Joe walked around looking for them, too, when... CRUNCH! Joe's eyes widened. He removed his foot and picked them up. He gave them to her. She looked at them in dismay. They been cracked all over and was bent into a weird shape. She was absolutely traumatized.
"Congratulations, Joe. You actually broke a girl's glasses." The guy next to Joe said sarcastically as he shook his head.
"I'm really sorry!" He kinda had a dismayed look, too. "Do you have another pair? Or contacts?" Gabi shook her head. Joe smacked his forehead and shut his eyes tightly.
"You're not gonna sue me, are you?" He asked semi-seriously. Gabi shook her head and tried her best not to laugh.
"Well, then... I guess I'm gonna have to buy you some new ones..." He said rather slowly.
"Good luck!" The guy who was with Joe said as he hurried away.
"Yeah, thanks a lot, Kevin!" Joe yelled back to him. "C'mon, the opto-mole-ology-ist...uh... person's office is right over there." He led Gabi to the ophthalmologist's office to get get some new glasses. Luckily, she had her prescription with her, since she was a clutz. So she picked out some frames that were exactly like her old ones; plain brown and a rounded rectangular shape. They went up to the counter lady and (Joe) explained.
"Well, you're in luck! We have exactly what you need right here!" She went to the back and brought brand new glasses. Gabi tried them on and they fit perfectly, and everything looked clear again. The price came up to $89.64 and Joe (semi)happily paid.
As they left, Joe started asking Gabi questions.
"So you never told me your name." He said.
"Ga..."
"Wait! Let me guess!... Gabriella, right?"
Gabi stopped walking and stood there a bit shocked.
"I recognized you from last night." Joe said. Gabi continued walking.
"So, Gabriella, do you live around here?"
"No..."
"Oh. Where do you live?"
"K-Kentucky."
"Wow... that's really far away. Are you here on vacation?"
"...Sorta..."
"Sorta?"
"Yeah..."
"Where are you staying?"
Gabi brought out room key and showed it to him. It said,
Fantasy Hotel
Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Floor 3, Room 49
"No way!" Joe said loudly. "Our room is right across the hall!"
"Wow!" She acted like she didn't already know. And she was pretty good at it.
"So, do you know anyone named Sarah? Just wondering..."
"Yes..."
"Really?! Black hair? About as tall as Nick?" Gabi's stomach felt weird after Joe mentioning Nick. But she answered anyway.
"Um, yeah. Sh-she's my best friend."
"So she's in the same room as you?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Oh. No reason, really. Just curious. Kevin mentioned something about her." Gabi remembered Sarah saying she met Kevin the other day.
Joe and Gabi talked all the way up to their rooms. By then it was exactly 9:30 AM when she said she would be back. Gabi was now really comfortable around Joe, and could talk to him without stuttering. Kevin and Nick, however, she would still be nervous around; especially Nick. The worst part was that Gabi had no idea why she was so weird around Nick!
Joe hugged her as she entered her hotel room. She went inside to see Keila and Sarah with excited faces.
"What?" Gabi looked at them confused. When the door closed, the girls immediately started squealing and shouting, "No way, no way, no way!!"
"What!!" Gabi yelled.
"We saw you and Joe through the peephole!" Sarah yelled.
"Oh... yeah, see, what happened was..."
"Wait! Over on the couch!"
"Okay..." They sat on the couch and Gabi told them what happened.
"Holy crap!" Sarah yelled. Then she got a sort of an evil-ish look on her face.
"...What?"
"You can find out if he likes me!" By then, Keila had left the room to get dressed.
"Well, he did ask about you..."
"He did?!" She grinned.
"Yeah. He asked if I knew a Sarah and described you. I said that you stayed in the same room as me. He asked about you because he said Kevin mentioned you..."
"Holy crap part 2! Oh my gosh!" Sarah's grin was from ear to ear now.
"Yeah, um that's all he said, though. But I think he might."
"Alright! And this is only the first stop!"
"Yeah, um, what are we gonna do on the next stop?"
"Well, you'll find out what hotel they're gonna stay at. Then we'll bump into them (not literally) and act like it's coincidental."
"Okay, I guess. Well, go get dressed and we'll go do some stuff."
"Alright, Mom."
Gabi got down to the lobby and went out the revolving door. She thought, This is too fun to put in normal doors. She looked around outside and wondered what to do. Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 4
The next day the three girls went shopping for new outfits for the concert. They needed to look special. They came back to the hotel with shopping bags. But Sarah wasn't watching where she was going and bumped in to someone, knocking both of them down. Keila and Gabi kept going.
"I'm sooo sorry! I-" Sarah looked at the person she bumped in to. He had curly hair, but it wasn't Kevin. It was Nick Jonas. She was shocked. He smiled.
"No, it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going.
"Y-Your..."
"Nick." He held out his hand and Sarah shook it.
"I'm Sarah."
"Nice to meet you!" He smiled and went on his way.
"Wow..." she got up and ran to the others grinning ear to ear.
"What? Did you meet another one?" Gabi asked.
"I.. met.. Nick!" Sarah tried to contain herself.
"How come you keep meeting them?" Keila whined.
"Because I'm the one that thought of this!" Sarah gloated.
Later, they went to the concert. They all thought it was awesome. After that, they went in the HUGE line to meet the Jonas Brothers. As luck would have it, they were in the very back. They waited for what seemed like days, but they eventually go to them. Keila was first, and acted as if they were normal people; which was fine, but rare. Next was Sarah. Nick and Kevin both recognized her from the hotel. When she got to Joe, however, they both were completely hypnotized. They looked into each others eyes and were both caught in a daze. Nick rolled his eyes and took a megaphone and yelled, "Joe!" he set it down and went back to business. Joe and Sarah snapped out of it.
"Hi." He said to her.
"H....H..Hi. I'm Sarah."
"Nice to meet you, Sarah. You're very pretty!"
"Thanks." Sarah blushed as Joe handed her an autograph and smiled at her. She swallowed hard and her eyes widened as she put her hand over her stomach.
"Are you okay?"
"I just swallowed my gum." he smiled at her again. He gave her a hug and she walked over to where Keila was waiting.
Gabi did the same thing to both Kevin and Joe.
"Hi. What's your name?"
"G....Gabriella."
"Pretty name"
"T-Thankyou" She shook all over. She started to leave.
"What, no hug?" She hugged them stiffly.
But it was different with Nick. She walked up to him nervously.
"Hi."
"H...h...h...hi."
"What's your name?"
"G....G....G-Gabriella."
"That's a very pretty name."
She was now trembling. He looked into her eyes and smiled sweetly. Gabi started breathing heavily.
"You're very pretty, Gabriella."
She grabbed her inhaler and inhaled it. Nick opened his arms for a hug. She walked over to him and hugged him. As he wrapped his arms around her, she started feel woozy and had a weird feeling in her stomach.
She let go and covered her mouth. She ran to the bathroom. Keila and Sarah looked at each other and went to see what's wrong. Kevin and Joe looked at Nick. He shrugged his shoulders.
Gabi was in a stall puking.
"Gabi! What happened?!" Keila yelled.
"Ew, why are you puking?" Sarah asked disgusted. Keila elbowed her. "What?"
Gabi got up and went over to the sink to rinse her vomit stained mouth. She looked at herself with a frown.
"I blew it." She said roughly. "I totally blew it."
"It's okay, Gabi!" Keila comforted her. "They'll understand!"
"No they won't! I almost threw up on Nick!"
Sarah jumped in. "I bet they get almost barfed on all the time!"
"Um, that doesn't really help."
"Sorry..?"
"I can't go back out there!"
"You have to!"
"I won't! I refuse! I am not going out there, and you can't make me!" she crossed her arms. Keila and Sarah looked at each other. Gabi's eyes widened.
"Oh no." she said. "Don't do it!"
"We won't unless you go out the yourself." Sarah said.
"I can't!"
"Okay!" Keila said tauntingly. They reached out to grab her. Gabi ran into a stall and locked it. She saw arms reach underneath the door. She screamed loudly.
"What's going on?!" Joe wondered.
"I don't know!" Kevin said.
"It sounded like a scream!" Nick exclaimed.
"Let's go, gang!" they yelled in unison. They posed like superheros then laughed.
"But seriously, something sounds wrong." Joe said.
Gabi stood up on the toilet, almost slipping. "Get away from me!" She screamed again. Keila and Sarah crawled under and into the stall. Sarah quickly unlocked the door and opened it. She helped Keila grab Gabi and lift her. They carried Gabi out of the bathroom and into the room where the Jonas Brothers were.
"Help!" Gabi's ear piercing scream came from the hall. Kevin, Nick and Joe looked at each other then started to run and see what happened. Then out came Keila and Sarah carrying Gabi out into the room. The boys looked at the girls with huge eyes. They backed away like scared children. Keila and Sarah set Gabi down, but blocked any exits. Gabi glared at them her evil stare. They motioned her to go on. She turned around to see three freaked out boys.
"What just..." Joe started.
"Don't ask." Sarah interrupted.
"Go on, Gabi!" Keila yelled. Gabi swallowed hard.
"U-Ummm... s-sorry... f-for r-r-running awayy..." she looked at her shoes.
"It's okay." Nick said smiling. Gabi turned around with a "PLEASE can we leave now?" face.
"Well, we better go... bye!" Keila said as we walked out.
"Bye!" They yelled in unison.
"So, Kevin..." Joe started. "Is that the girl you were talking about?"
"Who?" Kevin asked.
"Sarah. The one with black hair."
"Ohh! Yes she is." Joe smiled at Kevin.
"I always knew you had good taste!" He said.
"You like her?"
"Yeah, kinda!"
"Oh well, good, because she's staying at the same hotel as us."
Joe grinned even larger.
"Geez, Joe!" Nick said. "Your smile is bigger than your head!"
"Sweet!" Kevin and Nick looked at Joe.
"What?" They rolled their eyes.
Back at the hotel, while Gabi was in her room trying to sleep, Keila and Sarah were in the bathroom brushing their hair and getting ready for bed.
"Wow, Sarah." Keila said. "Did you see the way Joe looked at you?"
"Oh? I didn't notice. I was too busy staring in his beautiful eyes." Sarah said.
"I think he likes you." Sarah turned to her.
"You really think?" She said smiling.
"Yeah. I mean, seriously, he looked at you any chance he could get."
"Wow..."
"Plus I think he winked at you during the concert."
"Really?!" Sarah grinned as big as Joe did.
"Yup. And since he's staying here, you might get him to ask you out or something."
"You're right. And if he doesn't, I'll try again and again and again!"
"Yeah. Just be suttle when you flirt with him, kay?"
"Duh."
They all went into bed and got some sleep. Everyone, that is, except Gabi. She laid there in the dark room staring at the ceiling. She couldn't sleep. She couldn't even think about anything but what happened. She kept thinking, I'm soo stupid! They'll never like me now, and it's only the first time we've met! If only I could do it over... if only... She drifted off to sleep. All night long she kept having weird dreams about her and Nick. In the first dream, she and Nick were making out in a movie theater. In the second dream, she and Nick were slow dancing on a beach at sunset. And in the third dream, Nick sent her a HUGE bouquet of flowers and a musical card with a recording of Nick saying, "I love you, Gabriella!"
She had a fourth dream, too. Nick had a knife and was taunting her with it. She backed away in fear and was on the very edge of a cliff. Then, Nick shoved the knife through her heart, also causing her to fall off. She woke up screaming and hope nobody heard her. She looked at the clock. 5;49 AM. She sighed. How am I supposed to sleep now?
"I'm sooo sorry! I-" Sarah looked at the person she bumped in to. He had curly hair, but it wasn't Kevin. It was Nick Jonas. She was shocked. He smiled.

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 3
As Sarah walked down the hall to look through the peephole of the Jonas Brothers' hotel room, the door of Room 52 opened wide. Sarah could hear an argument about the Muffin Man coming from the room. A guy with dark curly hair came out of the room and rolled his eyes at the argument as he walked past Sarah. Sarah acted as if he wasn't there until he was behind her. Then she turned around and looked at him with wide eyes and an open mouth. She hurried to the door and looked through the peephole. She watched two boys argue about the Muffin Man. She giggled at the argument a few times.
"Having fun?" the guy before asked her. She quickly turned around to see Kevin Jonas standing there smiling.
"Oh, um... Sorry, I..." Sarah tried to explain but couldn't.
Kevin laughed and said, "It's okay. Completely understandable. A little weird... but.."
"Thanks." she smiled at him. "I'm Sarah." She shook his hand.
"I'm Kevin."
"I know!" Sarah said almost dreamily.
"Yeah... so how old are you?"
"Sixteen next month."
"Oh. Happy almost birthday!"
"Thanks. Well, I gotta go... nice meeting you!"
Sarah walked back into her room, closed the door, and grinned.
"I met Kevin!!" She yelled, probably too loudly. Kevin heard her and smiled as he walked back into his room.
"Hey guys. Still talking about the Muffin Man?" He greeted the boys who were sitting on the sofa.
"Nah, we've moved on to more important things." The boy with straight hair said. "We're discussing Humpty Dumpty."
"I still think he is a bad example for kids. You know, sitting on walls that are easy to fall off of." said the boy with curly hair.
"Yeah, but why would the King's horses and men wanna put him back together again? They could just scramble and eat him."
"I wonder what that would taste like?"
Kevin rolled his eyes. "Hey Joe..."
"Yeah?" the boy with straight hair answered.
"You broke up with Emily, right?"
"Yeah... why? You find another girl for me?"
"Maybe."
"You met Kevin Jonas?!" Gabi asked.
"Yeah!"
"Wow..."
"What, if you wanna meet one, go look through their peephole!"
"I don't want to meet them... well I do.. but I don't.. I'd be way too nervous."
"Don't worry, you can wait until tomorrow."
"What?"
"Don't you know? We will be meeting them after the concert, just like everyone else."
Her eyes widened nervously at the thought of meeting them. She felt something slide down her throat.
"You okay?"
"I just swallowed my gum..." Sarah burst out laughing.
"But seriously, how am I gonna meet them? I can barely meet normal people!"
"You'll be fine!"
"I sure hope so..."

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 2
Three days passed quickly for Gabi and she sat in the living room chair in nervous anticipation as she waited for her friends to pick her up. She was leaving to the airport where they were to be flying to Atlanta to attend a Jonas Brothers concert. The first of many concerts they would be attending. See, her friend, Sarah, had bought front row tickets to every Jonas Brothers concert from June 25 to August 30, and plane tickets to fly to every city the concerts would be held.
The horn of a car honked outside. Gabi looked out the window to see Marissa, Sarah's older sister, wave her arm madly out of the open car window. Gabi got up and went out the door. She wished she could say goodbye to her family, but they were at a party and left her here to wait for Marissa, Keila, and Sarah. She walked up to the black SUV and opened the door. She sat next to her friends and buckled up. They drove to the airport. This would be the start of a wild rollercoaster ride.
They got in the plane and flew to Atlanta. They passed the time with small, electronic devices. Sarah played with her black Nintendo DS, Keila listened to her iPod Nano, and Gabi watched a movie on her portable DVD player.
When they finally landed and got their luggage, Keila and Gabi turned to Sarah.
"So, Senior Smarty Pants," Keila started. "What do we do now? If we wait to find out what hotel the Jo Bros. are staying at, where will we sleep tonight?"
"Don't worry, for the first night, we'll stay at any hotel. Just for the night. Well, unless we get lucky and end up in the same hotel anyway."
Sarah called a cab and we drove to the Fantasy Hotel. We checked in and got a room with three bedrooms. We went to the 3rd floor and went into Room 49. We unpacked enough for the night. After 20 minutes of boringly flipping TV channels, Sarah left and snuck into an office. She went on to the computer and found the list of hotel guests. When she saw who was checked into Room 52, she almost screamed. She snuck out and went back to the room with a Dr. Pepper can in hand.
"Sup." She said as she entered the room and sipped the soda she held.
"Hey, Sarah. So what did you find out?" Keila asked calmly, not moving her head from the TV.
"What makes you think I found something out?"
"You always find something out."
"True..."
"So what is it?"
"Okay, you won't believe who's staying a few rooms down from us!"
"Who?" Keila was still calm.
"Okay, don't scream."
"Whatever."
"It's..." she took a deep breath. "The Jonas Brothers!"
"Okay."
"Did you hear me? I said the Jonas Brothers!"
"I heard you. Toss me a pillow, would ya?" She did as asked and Keila screamed into the pillow. She removed the pillow from her mouth and tossed it back to her.
"Thanks, Sarah." Sarah rolled her eyes.
"Where's Gabi?"
"Bathroom."
"Yo, Gabi!! Did you hear our conversation?!!"
Gabi came out of the bathroom with a flush.
"Are you serious?!"
"Would I joke about this?!"
"Probably..."
"You're right... well I'm not joking now!"
Gabi's face lit up with a mile wide grin.
"No way!!"
"Yeah way!!"
Gabi was about to scream but Sarah quickly covered her mouth.
"Don't scream! If they know that we know that they're staying here, they might go to another hotel!" Gabi nodded as Sarah removed her hand and wiped it on her shirt.
"Well, I'm going to look through their peephole. Bye." Sarah left.
Gabi stood there in happy shock. She was excited, and yet seriously nervous. What they bump into her and try to talk to her? Gabi was extremely shy with new people, let alone people like the Jonas Brothers. Would it be different this time?

Forcing Love & Friendship - Chapter 1
Gabriella Rodriguez stepped out of the school and happily breathed in. School was now officially over and it was time to start an awesome summer. She walked home with her two best friends, Mickeila Thomas and Sarah Donzik. Sarah's house was the first stop and Sarah ran inside to plan something extremely wonderful for all three of them. Keila's house was next and she walked inside to rid herself of school items. And finally, Gabi arrived at her front door. She stepped inside the house and happily plopped her backpack on the ground and walked to her room to practice playing guitar. She was the only one of her friends that didn't know how to play guitar, so she decided to take lessons. She was good by now, but still needed practice before she could be great. She finished and immediately heard her cell phone ringtone of Year 3000.
"Hello?"
"Gabi! It's Sarah. Get over here!"
"Why? What's wrong?"
"What the...? Nothing's wrong. Just get here! I have our summer all planned out!"
"Already?"
"Yeah! Now get your effin' butt over here!"
"Okay."
She closed her phone and put it in the pocket of her jeans. She headed down the stair and headed out the door after telling her mom where she was going. As she was walking down the side walk, she heard a "Bleep!" She got a text message.
Hurry up!
from Sarah.
She got this message three times before she got to Sarah's house. She got to the door and was about to knock when it flew open. Sarah was standing at the door and pulled Gabi in the house and dragged her up the stairs and into her room where Keila was waiting. The walls were plastered with posters of singers, mostly the Jonas Brothers.
"Geez, what took you so long?!" Sarah yelled as she slammed the door shut.
"I just walked here..."
"You're effin' slow!"
"Sorry."
"So," Keila said. "What do you have planned for us?"
"Okay," Sarah started. "We are going to, dramatic pause, stalk the Jonas Brothers!"
"What?!" Gabi and Keila exclaimed in unison.
"How are we gonna do that?!" Keila asked.
"It's simple. See, my stinkin' rich grandparents gave me a credit card for 5 grand! And my parents don't care what I do or where I go. So we are going to spend all summer stalking the Jonas brothers! See, we're gonna follow them around when they go to concerts. I've already made a chart with where the concerts are gonna be and left room for what hotels they're gonna stay at. We will find out when we go backstage and spy on them."
Gabi raised her hand. "I have a question."
"Yeah?"
"How will we get backstage without passes?"
"Ever heard of sneaking, Gabi?"
"I've heard of it. I don't like the idea, though."
"Fine, if you don't want to meet the Jonas Brothers..."
"I do! Just... not like that."
"Well, too bad. We're gonna do it and we're leaving for Atlanta in three days."
"Wait, what about our parents?"
"I already took care of that, you worry wart! I told your parents that you're coming with me all summer to my grandparents' house."
"What?! Oh no. Oh no! I can't lie! Not to my parents!"
"It's fine, Gabi! How are they gonna find out?"
"What if they call your grandparents?"
"I told them that they are afraid of telephones." Keila laughed at what Sarah said.
"But..."
"No freakin' buts, Gabi! Now start packing."
"Hello?"
"Gabi!
